Well as I sit in front of my computer wondering what I should blog about that may interest my friends and eventual followers, I have to say I am stumped and envious of those other photographers who's blogs I follow at how easily their words flow and manage to hold my attention. Hmmm, maybe my life is just not interesting enough, maybe I need more adventures...or maybe not....I had a very fun and interesting evening last week when my sister Lori and I got together with our cousins who we have not seen in many many years. Karen, Susie, Julie and my sister and I are all in the same age range so as young kids from an Italian family and not just Italian,a Sicilian family we where close. But as the years go by and lives go in different directions you tend to loose touch...that is until Facebook!! Now to keep this in the "Readers Digest" version we ended up getting together at my cousin Karens, who is the oldest of us and lives in a beautiful home in Ancaster. After literally screaming like little girls when they opened the door and making our way onto the back deck, it was no surprise that there was wine, cheese, veggies, dip & cheesecake, tea or coffee to end the evening as that is the way we where brought up! In the four hours and as many bottles of wine later there was never a moment when there was not 2 conversations going on at one time, I can honestly say I have not been so comfortable and laughed so hard and long in many many years. We promised to do this again in September and I know that we will, I also know that we will have the same type of evening cause that's the way us Borsellino girls roll!
